Linux related bug:

Taking more than one screenshot under Linux does not increment variable.

If there are already screenshots in the folder, it will increment the number but gets stuck on that number until I restart BloodGDX.

example:
In the folder there is Scree0001 ,0002 and 0003
I Launch BloodGDX, and take a screenshot it will save as 0004, but when I take another screenshot, it will override 0004 instead of increasing number to 0005.
If I close Blood GDX and relaunch it, the next screenshot will be numbered correctly 0005, but again it will get stuck on that number.

This bug does not occurs under Windows.

Привет! Спасибо за обновление 0.774, отлично работают новые скайбоксы, стандартные и новые воксели.

Мне кажется проблема есть в том, что вы тестируете порт на видеоадаптере Radeon, а большинство имеет Nvidia. У меня есть мелкие баги графики и отсутствует фигура Калеба на карте в Nvidia на PC, но все идет отлично на слабом ноуте с HD Intel. Это все несущественно, т.к. порт прекрасен и  в этой версии!

The elevator and some other thing are still missing one sound of the three, besides of the elevator's, take caleb's tomb for example, when it starts the animation, the second and also the missing one and third and final, when ir stop's such animation, instead le the second sound effect, It just repeats the first sound effect and that's boring.

Not really expecting a response or any direct action but I thought I'd point out something that caught my eye recently which is the Voxel Pack that adds additional voxels to the game.

It may be an antiquated mod but I was wondering if these could be used in this growing source port.

These voxels were made specifically for the New Alone in the Dark mod. The guy just uploaded them as a separate pack for some reason without crediting the original author.

Most of them aren't used in the original game, and the ones that are look pretty bad. I'd better make them myself.

Hi.
The Midi sequencer selector is a nice addition,
unfortunately aside from the default software one I can't get hardware Midi to work under Linux.
I tried my Yamaha with serial port, and created virtual Alsa Midi device to bridge midi data to serial port with is not detected, and also tried native midi port on my M-Audio Delta1010 with is detected but no sound is coming out of it.
Enable Music option in game stays OFF, and cannot be turn back on until I switch back to build-in software mapper.
I can't provide you with any error message as the console leave non related to the problem.
Sorry for the trouble making.

I heard that hardware midi device is harder to enable, I haven't an experience to do it and I can't help you here.

I'm not sure if this is a bug with BloodGDX or something else entirely, but I've encountered this skybox problem during Cryptic Passage. I'm not sure which level it is, other than it's the one with the big lighthouse.

The problem is so bad that it's hard to play through the level.

I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed out this bug, but I noticed an issue where the first save you make after initially loading the game, it'll append random characters to end of the save game name.

It doesn't do it with subsequent saves in the same session, however. It is reproducible by launching the game, loading a saved game, and then saving your current game.

And I have made sure that I wasn't just fat-fingering keys. *lol*

I experimented a bit, tried CoolSoft VirtualMIDISynth ( http://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/virtualmidisynth ) as driver and it works nice. Another free alternative is BassMIDI ( https://kode54.net/bassmididrv/ ).

You are welcome.  Maybe you could consider supporting in the future soundfonts natively without need to install another app. For example ScummVM has such feature when user just choose soundfont in program menu. They use FluidSynth and Gervill probably can handle the similar thing: https://blog.djy.io/making-midi-sound-awesome-in-your-jvm
