Ok, it was an experiment. So, links was restored.
But I haven't somethink new with bloodgdx.There is still v0.794  :)

VSync in BloodGDX still causes insane stuttering. Please look into this. It's there since the first version :(

i have the problem with the cutscenes on BloodGDX. no playing in episode 1 an other episodes on blood.ini.

at E3M4 lock on door missing when you distance become bigger than 2 meters what you can do with that map error ?) thanks for multiplayer part of blood,you are genius man!)

I am happy you are still working on bloodgdx I was afraid you stopped or something. I already wrote few times and I would still write that bloodgdx is amazing and I love it but there are few things which just do not work for me here on linux.

1. This is happening only when I am in fullscreen and I see menu, hud, sprites, weapon blinking. I was setting other drivers but its still blinking no matter what i do please fix it

2. on version 792 paths were working for me ok (my ini file was working in portable mode) and in 793 portable mode is grayed out and i cannot use it I had to configure the game from the beginning

I even test it on windows on my computer and it was working fine (portable mode and no blinking at all). So then it must be some code that is run only on linux.

I see you put multiplayer in the game I am very happy yo uare working on it

I was thinking if in original game there was any sounds when the demo played. I think I remember it more silently in the menu. When you run the game and demo is playing and you are in menu the sound volume could be much lower and if you press escape to watch the demo then the sound volume could be normal.

Very thanks for the update option. I think it is very good. (I am checking for any update every few days manually).

BloodGDX is an amazing project, I really appreciate it.


I'm also interested in reverse engineering/porting games to modern systems. I know some really basic stuff, but I wouldn't be able to do something like this.


Do you have any tips/suggestions for a reverse engineering beginner? What do I need to learn to be able to do something like this?

I think you need to learn an assembler at first. 

I succesfull reversed blood, because I have part of source code...build engine for example. This sources very helps to find same codes in reversed texts.

RE was more easier after I found build engine methods.
