your Nuclear Showdown mod is cool. but 1 thing that's wrong with it is, you can't switch weapons like you normally could. and that kinda sucks

Thursday, 18 July 2013 09:50

Nuclear Showdown isn't my mod. Author is James Stanfield. It's my wrong that I forgot add an author in description. But maybe I can make a patch, which can fix it.

hi, really thank you for your hard work; blood for me is one of the best game ever made and see what you have done make me really happy. But there is a very little thing that i hope you will correct: i am talking about the sixth weapon, the explosive with remote control. In the original blood with the second fire you can drop how meny explosive do you want; in bloodCM you can drop only 1 explosive at time. Thank you again for your work and good lucky!

I'll try to fix remote control, thanks for your report

Hey there, excellent work! but is there a way to re-integrate the videos? plus some floors (E1M2) look distorted! but nevertheless outstanding work, keep it up and we won't be needing a goddamn source code release!

Wednesday, 03 July 2013 13:29

this is possible but it is awkward, because eduke32 doesn't support video formats

This is an amazing piece of work!!  Playing it is just like old times, keep up the excellent work!

THANKS A LOT for doing this

Just one thing - I dont have Blood spilled on the walls. Bug?

Saturday, 22 June 2013 13:00

It's not a bug, just I don't programed it yet.

Duke's blood was disabled

Fine - good to know

Tuesday, 25 June 2013 11:51

What bugs about are you say?

Those dll make blur effect on bright textures.

Thursday, 20 June 2013 02:52

Well, I'm not 100% sure that bugs was caused by dll's. But when I delete dlls, bugs don't appear anymore, at least for now.

About bugs:

1. Sometimes in the middle of play, all enemy, item, and some othere sprites - just dissapears, and was replaced by dots. Some wall, ceiling and other textures - disappears too, and was replaced by dots.

2. Sometimes underwater the game just frezees, then bails out with some nvidia error (my card is nvidia, yes).

What for is opengl32.dll and cg.dll and cgGL.dll that linked to it? I think these dlls produced some nasty bugs, because when i removed them, the bugs seems to stop.

Voxels doesn't support by Polymer mode. If you want to see this, change video mode to Software or Polymost, but Polymost already not support by developers and at future it will be delete.

Minimap shows arrows: It's a eduke32 feature. I don't know how to disable it. Да и не нужно это :))))

Thanks! Yes, it works fine now!

Gameplay is like an original. Controls much more comfortable and modern.

E1M8 is little buggy (Texture of billboard near entrance looks shifted and gate does not triggered for me). Also there are some little bugs while jumping at water (there are two different sectors linked by floor and cellings, so sometimes player can't jump to "lower" sector of water). I think, E1M8 needs little tuning.

There are no voxel models. It is limited by eduke32 engine?

Minimap shows arrows (sprites with directions?). It is debug feature?

Also player moves too fast, i think. May be it is good for network play, but it will be great, if it can be tuned from menu, for example.

I'd like to thank you for your work at this project. It really great, that Blood 3D still alive!
